We hear in 1 Peter 4:10, “As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” As Christians, we are all called to respond to this commission and use the gifts we’ve been given to serve God and his people. For Daniel and Diana Collins this means opening a Catholic store in the Diocese of Tyler.

On June 5, 2021, Daniel and Diana will be celebrating the grand opening of Queen of Heaven Goods Catholic Gifts and Bookstore from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All are invited to visit during this grand opening.

Originally from Las Vegas, NV, Daniel and Diana moved to the East Texas area in December 2019. They have three beautiful children, Genevieve, Teresa and their newest baby boy, Fulton. After being away for a time, Daniel and Diana found their way back into the Catholic Church in 2016. In 2018, they realized they had a strong desire sitting on their hearts to move to Texas.

Diana explains, “we had heard great things about a bishop in East Texas. That bishop of course was Bishop Strickland. We so desperately needed a Shepherd as great as him and thus, after getting laid off from a job my husband held for eight years, we knew it was our sign to finally put all our trust on God and make the move to East Texas!”

Over the past year, Daniel and Diana began to see a need in the Catholic community. That need was a Catholic gifts and bookstore.

Diana points out, “My husband was a retail buyer in Las Vegas and with that experience, he felt called to use his skill and open the store. So here we are, once again trusting our Lord with all our hearts and answering to his call.” Using the gifts God has given them, Daniel and Diana hope this new Catholic store will serve the diocese for many years.

At Queen of Heaven Goods you will find rosaries, framed art, statues, prayer cards, Catholic books, crucifixes, chapel veils handmade by Diana, and so much more.

  1. I am so excited! It is so difficult to find Catholic merchandise in the south! This is an answer to prayer!
