The St. Philip Institute welcomes comments on the Catholic East Texas website. We encourage discourse and will do our best to keep the discussions focused on the topics at hand. The comment section can be a great place for interaction between Catholics and anyone who seeks truth. To ensure that quality engagement, please follow these guidelines:
- Be polite. Don’t be rude or disrespectful to anyone and respect others. If something you are about to write would come across as impolite in person, then do not write in online either. There is a person behind the screen. Words affect people.
- Don’t troll. We appreciate and welcome criticism of the issues and opinions, but comments that add no value to the discussion or that are merely insulting will be deleted without explanation.
- No spam. What is spam? It is any comment that is intended to sell or promote your work. This is not the place for it.
If you find any comments which violate our guidelines, please ‘flag’ or ‘mark as spam’. Our moderators appreciate your support!
